She sat quietly, her eyes lowered beneath the veil,

Heart pounding louder than the wedding drums.

To the world, she looked like every other bride -

Draped in pink, adorned in diamonds...perfect.

But inside, she was anything but.

"Why me?"

The question echoed in her mind like a silent scream.

She was beautiful for world, but for herself she wasn't.

She was bold, calm, feisty, sassy, silent with too many insecurities.

And yet, here she was - being married to him.

Him

The man who look at her like she held all the stars.

The one whose eyes softened everytime they met hers,

Whose silent felt warmer than the most people words.

He had chosen her.

Not because he had to - but he wanted to.

She couldn't understand it.

And that scared her more than anything.

As the sacred fire danced before them,

And the priest recited verses older than time,

He fill her hairline so lovingly with a smile

So gentle that it almost broke her doubt.

He had already fallen in love with her.

Now, it's her turn to believe

That maybe - just maybe-

She was loveable too.

And so, with trembling hands and hesitant heart,

She walked into a new life...

Not sure of herself,

But slowly learning to trust the way he had looked her-

Like she was everything he had ever wanted for.
